Art was born 4/14/1931 San Diego CA He passed away peacefully on February 7, 2019 at 2 pm.

Arthur was a native San Diegan and lived in the house his grandparents built in North Park.
His sister had passed on previously as well as his parents and grandparents. A decorated combat Veteran of the US Marines during the Korean War. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his wives Marlese Schneider Davidson and Betty Chase Davidson.
He is survived by his daughter Mara Dawn Davidson, grandsons Liberty Harp and Jakob Peters.
Art worked for SDG&E on the survey crew then became a staff member for San Diego School District
Where he worked for 23 years and retired 1994. Then he became trained to become security guard
for Kaiser Permanente for numerous years. He was very outgoing and always had a positive attitude and warm smile to those he met. Art enjoyed attending theatre, opera and concerts throughout his life.
Art has always enjoyed attending church. He has a strong faith in Jesus Christ and lived his life honoring the Lord. Art met Becky Arndt in church and married in 1995. They moved to Escondido and have
Enjoyed living in this community. He went to the donut shop and quickly made friends there.
Through the years, Art has enjoyed travel. He has been around the world and enjoyed sharing his experiences with those he met. He has been to Israel 3 times, Europe 2 times, Hawaii, Bahamas, Canada, Mexico, USA and Russia.
He was a quiet man but very positive and confident in who he was and always look for the best in others. Never a negative or harsh words towards others. He was buried at Miramar National Cemetery 2/28/2019.
A celebration of life was held for him at Emmanuel Faith Church. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
