Betsy Jones Obituary

Betsy Jones (1943-2018) passed peacefully surrounded by her children as the sun rose on the morning of Tuesday, November 6, 2018 due to cancer. Known in San Diego as “Keeper of the Kiddies,” Betsy dedicated her life to the development and welfare of children and those in need. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 18 from 3-5 pm at Fletcher Cove Community Center in Solana Beach. She is survived by her ex-husband Graham, her 5 children (Chris, Sara, Jackie, Jenny and Debbie) and her 4 grandchildren (Ashley, Tyler, Trey and JJ). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Rachel’s House (a program of Catholic Charities, Support the Enlisted Project, The Solana Beach Historical Society, and/or the Solana Beach Presbyterian Children’s Camp.
