Betty Wahl Jaton

Vista, CA.  Betty Jaton passed from this earthly life and into the arms of her creator Jesus Christ on December 8th, 2019.  She was succeeded in death in 2009 by Arnold Jaton, her husband of 54 years.  Betty is survived by her sons Keith, Joel (wife Tedi), and Jeffrey, and granddaughter Hanna whom all reside in the San Diego North County.  A few years after their marriage and shortly after the birth of their first child, they moved from Bismarck, ND to the San Diego region where Arnold commenced a 35-year career with Rohr Industries.  Betty also worked at Rohr for a number of years as a switchboard operator and office assistant, while raising a family of three sons in Chula Vista.  She retired with Arnold in Valley Center and they enjoyed their golden years together in a rural area that reminded them of their farmland roots in North Dakota.
