Elvira Walker

Elvira Walker, a resident of Poway since 1953, passed away in her sleep June 5, 2018. She was 97.

She was born in Italy on August 8, 1920. She came to the United States as an eight-year-old child. She grew up in Ohio, then came to San Diego later in life. She met and married her husband of 71 years, John Walker. John preceded Elvira in death.

She is survived by her two sons, John of Sacramento California and Francis (Jan) of San Marcos. Four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Interment will be at Dearborn Memorial Park in Poway, June 25 at 11 a.m.
