Freeda Cleo Havins

Freeda Cleo Havins (Sloan) died peacefully in San Diego, CA on July 26th, 2018 at the age of 90. Cleo is survived by her brothers Tommie Sloan & Arthur Sloan as well as her son Darrell Havins and daughter Kerry Schultz (Havins) as well as six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Havins and her daughter, Kelly Payne (Havins) of San Diego, CA.

Cleo was born on 10/21/1927 in Upland, CA to Raymond & Ella Sloan. She graduated from Vista High School in 1946. She married the love of her life, George, at Vista Community Church in 1949. After moving to Alpine, Cleo worked as a Dental Assistant until she became a mother. She lived the rest of her life being a devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful Christian.

A Celebration of Life and reception is scheduled for August 25th at New Vintage Church, 1300 S Juniper Street, Escondido, CA 92025 from 1pm-3pm.  All are welcome to attend.
