Kenneth Stuart Hoag

Kenneth Stuart Hoag was born in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada on September 15th, 1942 to Charles and Margaret Hoag, the youngest of three children.  Shortly after high school Ken moved from Ingersoll to California with his lifelong friend Arnie Hayes.  Soon after settling down in Southern California Ken was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served in both Panama and Vietnam.  After separating from the Army, Ken returned to Southern California and enrolled in college.  While attending classes at Mount San Antonia College he met and married the former Carol Lee Breedlove. 

Ken completed a degree in Microbiology graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University in 1973.  He then interned as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.  The couple lived in several Southern California cities, finally settling in Valley Center, where they lived for more than 30 years and raised their four children.  Ken and Carol enjoyed 47 years of marriage together.  Ken is preceded in death by his sister Marg and survived by his wife Carol, his sister Jean, sons Andrew (& wife Jessica), and Daniel, daughters Megan (& husband Rigo Dominguez), and Sarah (& husband Jesse Rivera) and three beautiful grandchildren.
