Lois Dorthy Pitcher “Gram” March 22, 1929 – March 9, 2019 Resident of Rancho Bernardo passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Lois was the only child to Mark and Blanche Munson, born and raised in Washburn, Maine. She was married to James Pitcher and was a long time resident of New Milford, Connecticut. Lois relocated to San Diego, California to be closer to her family. Lois would have celebrated her 90th birthday this month and never looked or acted her age! Her family would describe her as sassy, spunky, energetic, stubborn, funny and sweet. She loved to read and could knit the most beautiful blanket or scarf in record time! She loved keeping the hummingbirds fed and could make a mean Martini! Favorite quote “First one today!” She lived life to the fullest and left us with so many memories. Lois will forever be remembered by her beloved children, Wallace Corey, Donna Hofer, her devoted daughter in-law, Carol Corey, loving grandchildren, Cammie Burke, Kimberly Wise, Wallace “Chad” Corey, Julie Matcek, Jamie Hofer, Scott Benedict, Christine Benedict and eleven treasured great grandchildren. Greeting her in Heaven is her loving daughter Linda Youngman and her great grandson, Chandler Corey. Lois had countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial service on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 am Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church 17010 Pomerado Road, San Diego, CA. 92128.
