Stephen J. Wheeler was born in Escondido and raised in Vista. He was 75 years old when he passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, CA. He served in the United States Air Force and worked for the New York Life Insurance Company as an Agent and Manager for 22 years. He is survived by his loving and devoted Wife Fe Wheeler, 3 Children- Donna Christy, Lisa Schwartz-husband Mike and Stephen Wheeler II-wife Laurel; 2 Grandsons- Jack and Joshua; Sister- Wendy; Niece-Abra and his many friends. California Funeral Alternatives is handling the arrangements. Military burial is pending.
