Al was a happy, content man. He loved being retired & enjoying the simple things in life. His only priority was to be a good husband & father. He had a long & successful career in the radio & record business, but he always said that the only job title he ever cared about was being “dad.” He loved his two children, Rebecca & Adam, more than anything in the world & he dedicated his adult life to loving & protecting them above anything else. He was incredibly proud of the young adults they have become.
Al & Cindy were married for almost 34 years. They had a lot of fun in their younger years & their favorite place to be was on the sandy shores of Hawaii. That was their “happy place.” Al loved to watch the waves roll in and see the beautiful sunsets & he took the time to enjoy the simple beauty around him every day.
As an organ donor, Al has the potential to save many lives. His family takes great comfort in calling him a hero & hoping his death will bring light & love to others.
He will be missed greatly by an army of devoted friends & family.
RIP “Big Al” – you will be in our hearts forever.
