Brianna Rose Burton

Brianna Rose Burton passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus in her home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born March 10, 1990, Brianna, as a baby, was shaken by her birth father, resulting in brain damage, which caused her to become bedridden, legally blind, and nonverbal. Bob and Carolyn Burton became Brianna's foster parents when she was 6 weeks old and adopted her at the age of 2 years old. Though constrained by her body, Brianna lit up every room with her beautiful smile, especially when sung to by others and listening to music. Due to the loving care received from her parents, Bob and Carolyn, Brianna lived beyond any doctor's expectations.

Brianna is survived by her mother Carolyn, brothers Stan, Duane (wife Sherry), and sisters
Vickie, Tricia (husband Bill), Lori (husband Jeff), and extended family.  Brianna was preceded in death by her father, Bob, and siblings, Marjorie, Jason, Robbie, and
Desiree.

A Funeral Mass at Saint Gabriel's Catholic Church in Poway, CA will be held on May 14 at 10:30 a.m.  A graveside service will be held immediately following at Dearborn Memorial Park (Poway, CA).
