Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, has ascended to the Lord Above on May 5, 2025 to join with all those heaven bound among the millions of stars that
represent affinity. She is survived by her husband Roger Ruiz, daughters Alexa and Alena Ruiz, her sister, Victoria Taele, brothers Erik Basimakopulos, Andre and Alvin Perez and Jon Jon Perez, and Mother, Joanne Tawfilis and Stepmother (Jing Perez).  We know that our Lord along with her Father, Alfonso Perez, welcome her to heaven with open loving arms where her light will shine upon us forever.

Cristina would want each of you to know:

“My journey in life has been amazing. With the love of my life, Roger, we came together after meeting each other. in Germany. We fell in love and married each other’s wonderful families and our lives were then blessed with two beautiful daughters, Alexa and Alena. He was my rock, with resolute love and patience stood beside me. Throughout our lives together, he tended to my every need in the happiest and darkest of times. I was blessed with many extended family and lifelong friends. Our hearts had been touched by the good we see in people, in the family and friends, we love and have been blessed with, and by those who have suffered and ascended before us. Please do not be sad at my passing. I have always thought of myself, like all of us know, that we are only here temporarily, and like each of you would return to the earth and become part of that incredible cycle of life. I had the joy of holding my daughters in my arms and watched them grow like a tree,and live to see them blossom. But life does not end with the body living here on earth. It is simply the beginning of Another dimension. Look for me in the clouds that form such beautiful images, in the drops of rain that fall upon your cheeks and in the rainbows that burst upon you after the rain—I am there always and always grateful, thankful to find peace and having walked, talked,and laughed among you. I Love You Forever..."
