In Loving Memory Of

Elpidia (Lydia) Jimenez Ocampo

September 2, 1933- October 29, 2022

Lydia, a lifelong resident of Monterey since 1965, and San Diego since 2001. She was born on September 2,1933 to Gonzalo and Luriana Jimenez in Rosario, Cavite Philippines.

Lydia passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband Ross of 70 years who passed May 25, 2019.

Before her retirement, Lydia was a Seamstress for 18 years at Robert Talbott Ties in Monterey. She loves sewing and cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, Happy Hour, Casinos, Concerts, and traveling with her family. She was easy going and had an amazing sense of humor; most of all loved her many fur babies!!

Lydia was survived by her 6 kids: Elizabeth (Ken) Schwieterman of San Diego, Evelyn Celaya of San Diego, Elaine (Derryck) Tom of Mesa, AZ, Ereol (Josie) Ocampo of Irvine, Roselle (Michael-deceased) Schneider of San Diego and Roselyn (Demy) Gose' Of San Diego.

She was also a proud Grandmother of 13: Robert, Lena, Jason, Chris, Michael, Tracy, Ryan, Sean, Nicole, Lizanne, Marcus, Mikayla and Matthew; and Great Grandmother of 13: Anthony, Zoe, Seth, Eli, Jasmine, Carter, Aaro, Peyton, Teigen, Emerson, Hendrix, Avery and Brixton.

She will be deeply missed and loved forever and always in our hearts
