Emma Jean Hill

Emma Jean Hill born March 23, 1952, East St Louis the eldest of 8 children to Leanna Hill & McJoe Hill. Emma was preceded in death by her Mother Leanna Patterson, Father McJoe Hill, Brother Michael Hill, Sister Adrian White and Brother Curtis Harper.

Emma attended Paul Laurence Dunbar Elementary, Hughes Quinn Junior High School and Lincoln Senior High School all in East St. Louis Illinois. Emma moved to Oceanside, Ca in 1976. There she had a career as a phlebotomist. She has been an active member for the last 30 years with Vista Christian Fellowship.

On September 12, 2022, Emma lost her battle with Congestive Heart Failure and Kidney Failure. Emma leaves to mourn her passing 2 sons Dartantion Hill, Dionte Hill many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her siblings James (Monique) Dennie, Robert B. Hill, Michelle (William) Brown and Daryl Harper. She also leaves behind a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.

Visitation for Emma will be Thursday October 6, 2022

 at California Funeral Alternatives Escondido from 2:30p-3:30p.

Illinois Services

Emma will be laid to rest on October 8, 2022 

 Mount Hope Cemetery in Belleville Illinois.

Viewing held from 1230p-130p at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Il

Followed immediately at Graveside at 1:45p
