Emma Jane Reeve

Emma Jane Reeve was a caring wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 77.  

She was born June 13, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Dr William H. Walters Sr. and Jean Bittner Walters.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Reeve, Daughter Carlyn Vickers and Son Michael Petosa (wife Johanna) and grandchildren Jarod Vickers, Sophia, Michael and Cornelius Petosa, as well as her siblings Bill Walters (niece Gwynn), Beth Flannery, Linda Jones and Gary Walters along with extended Reeve Family.  Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Jeff Walters.

Emma was a 1963 graduate of Pottsville High School.  She attended Cornell University for 2 years and completed her undergraduate degree at Drexel University to become a dietitian.

Emma moved to the San Diego area in 1986 where she would eventually meet her soul mate Gary Reeve.  Gary and Emma were married on October 18, 2006.  She enjoyed traveling up and down both coastlines with Gary in their RV.  They would visit family and friends during their adventures in the RV.  Her favorite places to visit were Yellowstone and Kauai along with their trip to Paris and Italy.  Emma loved spending time in the kitchen preparing meals for family and friends.  She enjoyed reading and making her crafts (water colors, making boxes, plastering faces to decorate).

On January 13, 2023, there will be a Memorial Service from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at California Funeral Alternatives located at 1020 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Escondido, CA 92025.
