Athanasia Rossos was born in Peabody Massachusetts, her father was born in Greece and her mother. Her grandmother was from Santorini.
Athanasia grew up in Peabody Massachusetts and her & her parents lived along with her aunt and uncle and her cousin, Jackie among other relatives in Massachusetts. Her first husband Charles Scangos immigrated from Greece, they married and went on their honeymoon to San Diego, California, where they decided to stay. She then had three children and was widowed young and remarried five years later to Mr. Pro. And had her youngest son.
She was a woman who loved life and loved people and children. She was artistic and enjoyed sewing and loved the ocean. She also enjoyed fashion, travel and cooking. She was giving, kind, & a patient woman, loving to all .. she was a woman of God and also had a good sense of humor. She helped many people in her life always giving and thinking of others with joy in her heart. She loved all her children very, very much. She leaves behind Emanuel Scangos, George Scangos, Catherine Scangos, and Christopher Pro. As well as her grandchildren Jessica and Jennifer Scangos, as well as her great grandchildren. She is greatly missed already.. by her family and friends.
