Harry Viggo Hansen II

Harry was born on May 2, 1957 in Los Angeles CA to Harry Viggo Hansen I and Patricia R. Rogers, he passed away on October 24, 2018 in Escondido. Harry is survived by his wife, Laura Loos-Hansen, his son Michael Hansen, step son Christopher Loos, and his sister Linda Quint (Andy). Harry was preceded in death by his father & mother, his sister Laurel “Lori” Hansen, his cousin (& best friend) Eddie Hansen and his Nephew Joshua Quint. 

Harry moved to San Diego in the early 90's and in 1996 went to City College to study Alcohol and other Drug Studies. He started his career in 1996 at House of Metamorphosis, (HOM), from there, in 1999, he moved on to Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD.) While there, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Services at University of Phoenix (Just days after the birth of his son!) and advanced to Program Director of New Resolve (a housing program for Veterans with addiction issues.)  In 2010 he started working as a Court Referral Officer at the Substance Abuse Assessment Unit (SAAU) at San Diego Superior Court. Harry had a true passion for the work he did, and he made a difference in the lives of many!

Harry was a fun-loving guy, always ready to share a story or a light-hearted joke with those he spent time with. The love he had for his family, and his extensive knowledge of Rock & Roll, History and the Kennedy's gave him plenty of things to talk about and share - and that he did! He will be very missed!
