Joel Clementson

It is with immense sadness that we share the passing of Joel Ryan Clementson, 39, of Poway. He was born on December 21, 1985, in San Diego to Alfred and Colleen Clementson. He spent his childhood riding bikes, setting booby traps, playing Super Nintendo, and exploring the hills of Poway.

Joel’s unwavering devotion to his family, paired with his humor, loyalty, generosity, and unconditional love for everyone he met, was an inspiration and ensured he was cherished by all. His greatest joy was experiencing life with his loving wife, Breanne, and their two beautiful children, Max (9) and Kate (4).

In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his parents, Alf and Colleen; his sister, Rose Maligat, and her husband, Mark; and many beloved nephews and nieces.

A service to celebrate Joel’s life and legacy will be held on Saturday, February 1st, at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Church of Poway.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love, joy, and laughter he brought into our lives will remain in our hearts forever.
