Juli Irene James

On the afternoon of February 28, 2024, Juli passed away peacefully after a grave illness in the presence of her partner, Tom, and her daughter, Johna, at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA. 

Juli James was born in San Diego, CA on Wednesday, August 24, 1960 to John P. James, Sr. and Clarabell "Mickie" James. She and her twin brother, Jim, were the youngest of 6. Active much of her life, Juli played sports such as softball during her school years and was incredibly adept at hacky sack well into her 40s. She was always a social butterfly, befriending many from all walks of life. Her bright smile and laughter were always contagious. As an avid animal lover, Juli could never resist stopping and saying hello to every dog that crossed her path and went out of her way to ensure they found their way into that path. She loved and was loved greatly by all who knew her. 

Juli was preceded in death by her parents, John "Jack" James and Clarabell "Mickie" James, and her sister, Jaci Hopper. She is survived by her longtime partner, Tom Fairweather (and their two puggles Timmi and Toni) as well as her daughter, Johna Lippert, her sisters, Judith Ernst and Jeri Griffin, and her brothers, John and Jim James.

Juli will be infinitely missed by everyone fortunate to have had her in their life.
