Lloyd Orlan Parks

Lloyd Orlan Parks Sr., of La Mesa, CA passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024. He was 86 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia (Ginny) Secor. Born and raised in Livingston Manor, New York. He joined the U.S. Navy service at 19. He later moved to Rhode Island and worked at Electric Boat until he married Ginny and moved to San Diego, CA. He worked at the University of San Diego for 20+ years. He enjoyed singing and dancing in his spare time and spent a lot of time with groups like the ‘Fun Bunch’ at “The Springs” where he lived. Lloyd leaves behind his late sister, Jean Parks, from OR, his late brother, Earl Jr, from NY, his sister Judy Mason and her husband Norman from MA, His brother Curtis and his wife Linda from NY, his sister Bonnie in TN, and his sister Phyllis and her husband Michael in NY. He leaves behind 5 children, Kelly Cory and her husband Gary of MA. Lloyd O Parks Jr and his wife Kara of RI, Christian Parks of RI, Sean Shuman and her husband Todd of CA, and Glory Messier of CA. He has 6 grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Kerry, Kelly, Maddy, and Sean and 3 great grandchildren, Alex, Behr & Ayla.
