Margaret Jeanne Barnes

Margaret Jeanne Barnes, 95, a long-time resident in the Landers, California
area, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 21, 2023, at the
Aaspen Village Care Facility in Yucca Valley, California. She will be
cremated, and her ashes scattered at sea in San Diego, California, per her
wishes.
She was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on September 27, 1928, to
Ward Elsworth and Ruth Doud. Margaret was married to Jack Randall
Barnes, who passed away in Los Angeles, California in May 1952.
She had one son, Michael David Barnes, born on September 22, 1953, in
Los Angeles, California.
Margaret was one of 8 siblings and is survived by her half-brothers Jerome
and Peter, her half-sister Sally, her son Michael and granddaughter Taylor
and three great grandchildren.
