Nancy E Bacon

Nancy Elaine Hess Bacon 1923-2024

Nancy Elaine Hess Bacon died at the age of 101, on June 8, 2024, in San Diego.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where she lived for a short while before moving to Chicago and Fort Wayne, IN.  After completing two years of college at Miami University in Oxford, and two years of working in Indiana, she married Ensign Vincent LeRoy Bacon.

She enjoyed being a stay-at-home wife and mother.  She volunteered with her church, PTA, voting precincts, the American Red Cross, March of Dimes, United Way, and was a Girl Scout leader or co-leader for 13 years.  Her hobbies included art, sewing, gardening, needlework, and traveling.

Nancy and Vincent resided in San Diego since 1953.  They entered Casa de las Campanas in 2007, and enjoyed the friendships and activities there. 

Nancy showed kindness and love toward others.  She left this world a better place.
