Nancy Barbara O’Donnell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy B. O’Donnell, 87, on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Nancy was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 11, 1936, to William and Florence Ehinger.  Nancy married William O’Donnell on April 16, 1955, in Philadelphia and then relocated to California in July of the same year. 

Nancy was preceded in death by the love of her life Bill and is survived by her son Michael (wife Carole) of San Marcos, daughter Patti Palmer (husband Steve) of Escondido, and son Mark of Las Vegas. Nancy was blessed with six grandchildren: Kristen O’Donnell, Brandon Palmer, Lauren O’Donnell, Justin Palmer, Kyle O’Donnell, and Riley O’Donnell, and three great grandchildren: Daisy Palmer, Carissa Palmer, and Lillian Palmer. Her unconditional love, wisdom, and strength will forever be remembered.

Nancy was a retired accountant and tax preparer and the owner of Management Support Services in Escondido for over 35 years.  Nancy loved her St. Timothy’s church family and her many years as a member of their choir.  Her love of travel took her to many regions of the world including Asia, Ireland, South America, Australia, and Europe in addition to several cruises.  However, the most cherished were her East Coast trips to reconnect with her Philadelphia roots visiting her sisters, nieces, and nephews. Nancy’s laughter, warmth, and strength of spirit will be deeply missed.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, January 16, at St. Timothy Parish Church in Escondido.
