Nancy L. Weber

Nancy L. Weber passed away on August 29, 2019 at Pomerado Hospital in Poway surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born June 18, 1947 to Samuel and Dorothy Rogers in Granville, Ohio. The family eventually settled in Barstow, California. Nancy was raised in a loving Catholic home with two younger brothers, Paul and John Rogers, and a sister, Kathy Wagner.

Nancy attended Barstow Community College where she met and later married LeRoy Weber in 1966. Nancy and LeRoy moved to San Diego, CA where they shared a quiet and very happy life and raised their three children, Carrie Murrell, Christie Verheijen, and Brian Weber. For 31 years, Nancy worked as Executive Assistant to the Director of Security for the University of San Diego before retiring in 2014.

Nancy was an avid reader and had a special affection for lighthouses. Strong and intelligent, she was a great listener and advisor. However, as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Nancy will most be remembered for the sweet love she gave to others in all the little things she did and said every day.

Nancy will be missed by her husband of 53 years, LeRoy Weber; her three children: Carrie (Mike) Murrell, Christie (Erich) Verheijen, and Brian (Allison) Weber; ten grandchildren: Jason Murrell, Marissa Murrell, Emily Verheijen, Sierra Murrell, Alexis Verheijen, Joshua Murrell, Joseph Murrell, Gianna Murrell, Harper Weber and River Weber; and her siblings, Paul (Vikki) Rogers, John (Carmen) Rogers, and Kathy (Brooke) Wagner.

The funeral mass will be held September 21, 2019 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish 13541 Stoney Creek Rd, San Diego, CA 92129. A private family burial service will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at Dearborn Memorial Park.
