Patricia (Patty) Louise Ferrara

Patricia (Patty) Louise Ferrara of Escondido, CA, passed away on February 20th, 2022 at the Providence St. Peters Hospital in Olympia WA at the age of 69 due to complications from Frontotemporal Dementia. 

Patty is survived by her Husband; Tony Ferrara; her children; Gasper Ferrara, Anthony & Erikka Ferrara; her grandchildren; Ayden and Emerald; her sibling Rick & Trudy Maddy; Gary and Saralynn Macy, and niece Kayla Payne

Patty was born in Willows, CA on April 7th, 1952. Patty spent most of her young childhood in Willows, CA where she excelled in competitive swimming.  Patty moved to Escondido CA in her teenage years where she graduated from Escondido High School in 1970. Patty went on to become a certified dental hygienist but found her true calling working in special education with elementary age students.

Patty cherished being a wife and mother and devoted her life to her family’s success. Patty was ever present in her son’s endeavors and could always be counted on for support.  Patty passed along a love of the outdoors and the ocean to her family which still plays a pivotal role in each of her sons' and husband’s lives.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 AM on March 14th at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido CA followed by a Celebration of Life at The Forgotten Barrel Winery also in Escondido CA.
