Paula McAdoo

Beloved mother and wife Paula Marie McAdoo passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer.

Born in St. Louis, Paula graduated from the University of Miami in Florida and came to San Diego to further her education. There she met and married Everett McAdoo and raised three sons. Paula taught elementary school for nearly three decades in the Oceanside Unified School. Countless young minds benefitted from her love of teaching and engaging manner. Paula immersed herself in her family. Her energy was unlimited and her smile was unforgettable. 

Paula is survived by her husband Everett, her sons Nicholas of New Bedford Mass, Alexander of Hermosa Beach and Christopher of Tucson, her father Bill Field and brother Alex of St. Louis, sister and brother-in-law Maryruth and Michael Luther of Andover Mass and niece Claire of Luther of Bangor Maine.

Family reception will be held in St. Louis. In lieu of local services, donations are encouraged to organizations providing hospice care.
