Peter Robert Strelke passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 86, in San Diego, California. He passed peacefully early in the morning after a long battle with COPD.
Peter was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 29, 1935, to Adolph and Marion Strelke. Peter attended Pius High School and Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, WI. He joined the US Marines in 1952 and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. He traveled the world during his military service which ended in 1958. After the Marines, he returned to Milwaukee where he met his wife Sharon Louise (Gertenbach) Strelke. They were married in 1960 and had four children; they divorced in 1969.
