Phyllis Anne Trulock, best known as Anne and Annie, also affectionately known as Momma Annie, Granny, and Grans, passed away peacefully at home on October 26, at age 77. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Anne, born in the Baltimore, MD, spent the majority of her life in Cincinnati, OH. Anne earned an Associate’s Degree from Cincinnati Technical College, which enhanced a nearly thirty year career in loss prevention at various retail outlets around the Cincinnati region. She relocated to San Diego, CA, with her daughter in summer 2007. She enjoyed bird watching, sitting by the ocean, visiting her favorite brewery, AleSmith, and sampling California wines.
Anne is survived by her son Tim (JoAnna), daughter Kate, granddaughters Taylor (Kyle) and Madilyn, great grandson Oliver, nephew Charles (Brenda), niece Aimee, and great niece Stella. She also leaves behind numerous beloved friends. Anne donated her body for scientific and medical research. Celebrations of life will take place in San Diego and Cincinnati in 2022. In lieu of flowers, Anne requested donations to Anvil of Hope, a local San Diego non-profit committed to strengthening the community. Please visit anvilofhope.org to donate.
