Raymond Duane Solomon
December 17, 1955 – November 9, 2025
Raymond Solomon passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his children, Wesley Solomon (Lisa) and Samantha Solomon.
There are two kinds of people in this world, those who ride motorcycles and those who wish they did.
We are not sure if Raymond came up with that himself or heard it somewhere, but this was the epitome of how he lived his life and how he brought up his kids. But more than motorcycles, he loved his children more.
Ray worked hard to play hard for his children. He loved family trips to the lake and river with his boat, camping in the desert riding dirt bikes, going to Baja races, smelling the nitro from drag races, and going on long drives to his favorite restaurants. He always had great stories and unheard-of metaphors to share.
Getting hit by a car in his brother’s front yard, a scorpion sting, black widow bite, and alleged ex-wife while tubing at the lake couldn’t kill this tough SOB.
He was a mechanic by trade and willing to help friends and family with their car troubles in his off time. Raymond would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He probably did because most pictures of him he was not wearing a shirt.
His children will always cherish the time and adventures they got together.
God speed dad. God speed.
