Sabrina Cheung

Sabrina Cheung, age 87, was born 1938 in Hong Kong and passed away peacefully on Sunday 25 January 2026 in San Marcos, California.

Sabrina was a devoted mother to her only child, Caroline and a loving grandmother. She was known for her generosity and lively spirit. She enjoyed cooking and took great pleasure in hosting family and friends, especially during the holidays. Her home was often a place of gathering, good food, and conversation.

She believed deeply in helping others, particularly the less fortunate. She often gave to those in need, especially people experiencing homelessness.

Family was central to Sabrina’s life, and she took pride in bringing people together. She will be remembered for her welcoming nature, her love of sharing meals, and the care she showed to those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Caroline; son-in-law, Bandy; and beloved grandchildren, Elaine and Alex.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday 8 February 2026 2pm at St. Therese of Carmel Catholic Church, 4355 Del Mar Trails San Diego, California 92130. Rite of Committal held on 12 February 2026 at 10:30am at Mission San Luis Del Rey Cemetery, 4050 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, California 92057.

Sabrina will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
