Seana Ann Marinez died peacefully at home on November 21, 2020, from end stage liver disease. She was 54.
For almost 40 years she worked in the carnival business as an independent agent and later as an owner of a kiddie water ride. She worked fairs, church festivals, and street fetes up and down the East Coast from Miami to Vermont. She loved the nomadic life, the long hours, the buzz of the midway and the many friends who knew her as “Shy”.
Her cousin Hollie who worked with her said, “ Seana was a giant personality. Smart. Strong. Fearless. Sassy. And if you got to really know her she was sweet and unbelievably kind.”
She loved to read and garden, but her favorite place was the kitchen. “Just give me flour, sugar, and butter and I am a happy person.”
She leaves behind her parents, Doug and Chris Evans, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She requested that her remains be sent to dead-letter offices of the places she never had a chance to visit.
Services to be held post pandemic.
