Soklakhana Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Soklakhana Mean-Smith, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully at the age of 40 years old on December 29th, 2024. Soklakhana was a beacon of love and kindness, cherished by all who knew her. Born to Savann Mean and Sythat Sao Mean, Soklakhana was a devoted daughter and a nurturing presence in the lives of her family. She found joy and fulfillment in her roles as a wife to her loving husband, Rodney Smith, and as a mother to her beautiful daughter, Kourtney Smith. Soklakhana's warmth extended to her step-children, Ashley Smith and Ryan Smith, who adored her deeply. Soklakhana was also a treasured sister, leaving behind her siblings Savanna Blake, Vandy Greenway, Savann Mean, and Vanessa McGee. The bond they shared was unbreakable, filled with laughter and support. Her legacy will continue through her nieces and nephews—Gianna Blake, Jaden Mean, Emily Mean, Mason Ware, Amelia Ware, and Raelynn Ware—who were lucky to have her as a guiding light in their lives. Soklakhana's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She touched many lives with her grace, compassion, and unwavering love. A celebration of her life will be held on January 3rd, 2025 at California Funeral Alternatives (1020 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Escondido, CA. 92025), where we will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful impact she had on us all. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
