Stephen Leon DeWitt Sr., 70, of Fallbrook, CA, passed away on February 26th, 2025. Born on October 19th, 1954 in San Pedro, CA, he was a devoted husband to Maria Carmen DeWitt and a loving father to Carla Castaneda and Stephen Leon DeWitt Jr.
Stephen was hard-working and dedicated. He spent over 40 years working as a Sales Engineer, where he was known for his strong communication skills and knowledge of the industry. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Stephen liked being the center of attention, he enjoyed making people laugh and sharing stories. He was a man of integrity, kindness, generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Stephen's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. His love for fishing was something he shared with his children and grandchildren, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen, children, Carla and Stephen Jr., son-in-law, Ricky, daughter-in-law, Lisa, grandchildren, Erik, Edgar, Vivian, Eros, Sophia, Enzo, Stephen III (Tripp), and his brother Dana DeWitt, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on April 3rd, 2025 at 11:00 am at 4809 Dulin Rd., Fallbrook, CA, 92028.
We find comfort in knowing that my father's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
