Vincent Walter Kaczynski Jr., a wonderful father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 85 December 18, 2020, in Vista, California.
Vincent was born April 17, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio to Vincent Walter Kaczynski Sr. and Clara Marie Budzicki. He was a volunteer enlistee in the United States Marines, beginning at Parris Island, SC in platoon 264 in 1958 for basic, and later was stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He also served in the Marine Reserves and left his military career with an honorable discharge.
He had a master’s degree in education from Kent State University and taught architecture and drafting for years at the college level in Ohio and both high school and college in Arizona.
After moving from Ohio to Arizona, he was also a builder and architect, building homes in Tucson and homes as well as many commercial buildings, in Sedona, Arizona. As a hobby, he was a gifted craftsman loving to make unique art pieces out of natural materials like gourds, wood, rawhide, along with southwestern style jewelry of silver and turquoise. He never sold any of his art pieces, preferring instead to give them to friends and family.
Vincent was a loving father, and is survived by daughters, Debbie and Michelle and grandchildren Skye and Sasha.
Dad, we love you and you will be missed more than words can ever express……..
